Born in the Ukraine in the 1970s, Natalya and Oleksandr Shevchenko wrote award-winning horror and fantasy novels even before becoming a married couple. They have been writing their mystical thriller and horror novels as co-authors since their marriage in 2006. Their debut earned them 3rd place in Koronatsia slovo. Natalya and Oleksandr Shevchenko live in Kiev.
