Once a year young people get access to otherwise "forbidden" mostly non fiction books (beauty, cooking, TV series etc. "US style"). I found only one title of contemporary Russian literature. By Lukianenko. When asked about Russian contemporary literature in general people looked at me like an alien. As if I talked about a memory of something that they hardly remember -- and in some way should not remember...
