Sergei Kuznetsov was born in 1966 in Moscow. In the 1990's he achieved a high profile as one of the pioneers of the internet in Russia and subsequently writes for magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Playboy, Vogue and L'Officiel, amongst others. In 2001 he became the first Russian journalist to receive a Knight Fellow scholarship from Standford University. Sergei Kuznetsov works as a writer, journalist and translator and lives in Moscow.
