Linor Goralik was born in 1975 in Dnepropetrovsk. In 1989 she emigrated to Israel where she studied information technology and worked in the high tech industry. In 2001 she moved back to Moscow where she writes as a journalist for a number of newspapers and magazines, as well as writing prose and lyric poetry. In addition to translating from English and Hebrew, she has also published an essay on the world of the Barbie doll. Linor Goralik lives in Moscow.
